A small ribbed planter you can see into.
It comes apart into two pieces: an inner cup that holds the plant and potting mix, and a clear outer section that catches whatever drains through. No separate saucer to knock off a shelf, and no guessing what is going on under the pot.
4.13 in across and 4.72 in tall (10.5 x 12 cm), in blue, green or gray. Treat it as a planter with a visible reservoir and keep watering it yourself.
A pot that waters itself from below.
Water sits in the clear reservoir underneath, and a cotton rope draws it up into the potting mix as the plant uses it. You fill through a port on the side, glance at the reservoir to see where the level is, and top it up when it runs low.
Four sizes from 3 in to 9.3 in across (8.2 to 23.5 cm), in white or gray, each with one cotton wicking rope. It suits the plants that suffer most from an irregular schedule — pothos, peace lilies, herbs on a kitchen counter.
A pump sprayer that runs off a bottle you already have.
The head screws onto a standard soft-drink bottle in place of the cap. Pump the handle a few times to build pressure, then twist the nozzle to move from a fine mist for seedlings and leaves to a narrow stream for reaching across a shelf.
Body 11.4 in (29 cm) with an 11.8 in (30 cm) draw hose, in grey, yellow, blue or orange. No bottle included.
A tulip-shaped globe that tops up a pot between waterings.
Fill it, push the stem into damp potting mix, and water is released as the soil around it dries. The translucent bulb means you can see the level from across the room instead of prodding the soil.
9.45 in long with a 2.56 in bulb (24 x 6.5 cm), in packs of 1, 2, 4 or 8. The supplier lists 3 to 7 days per fill, though how long yours lasts depends on the pot, the mix and the room.
A slow drip feed made from a bottle you already have.
Each spike screws onto a standard soft-drink bottle in place of the cap. Turn the bottle over, push the point into the potting mix, and open the valve as far or as little as you want.
Three spikes per pack, 6.9 in (17.5 cm) each, in beige or green. How long a bottle lasts depends on the valve setting, the pot and the weather, so give it a trial run before you rely on it.
Solar-powered drip watering for up to 15 plants.
A small pump sits in any open container you fill — a bucket, a watering can, a rain barrel — and the solar panel keeps it running. Tubing carries water out to a dripper at each plant, and you pick one of the preset schedules to repeat.
Ships with the panel, pump, controller, 15 drippers, 15 T-fittings, filter, water level sensor and 49 ft of tubing. Scissors are the only tool you need. No faucet, no outlet, no container included.
